Northern Uganda’s vibrant music industry is buzzing with excitement following the official confirmation of a new collaboration between two of its most promising talents — Eezzy and Doggy Kizz.
The news was broken during a live interview on Mega FM Gulu on 3rd May 2025, where Eezzy enthusiastically shared the announcement with fans and listeners across the region. The upcoming project, which remains unnamed at this point, promises to bring a fresh and energetic sound to the Ugandan music landscape, blending the signature styles of both artists.

Eezzy Da lyrical AKA Opoka Erick born on 21st July 1999 is one of the most recognized and celebrated names in Northern Uganda’s modern music scene. Rising to fame in 2020 with his hit song “Tumbiza Sound”, Eezzy captured the attention of Ugandans across the country and outside the country during the COVID-19 lockdown. The song, which became a massive street anthem, was both loved and controversial due to its commentary on pandemic restrictions. However, it established Eezzy as a bold and creative artist with a finger on the pulse of social issues.
Since then, Eezzy has released several popular songs such as “Bed mega” , “Mar kere” and “Gum Pa Mon.” His music blends Afrobeat, dancehall, and Acholi traditional rhythms, creating a unique and energetic sound that appeals to both local and international audiences. He is Known for songs like “ Ki Kwa Wang,” “Rubanga tye true,” and “Ki Matafali” Doggy Kizz started his music career in 2021 from Gulu.Doggy Kizz has steadily risen through the ranks, performing at local events, festivals, and on regional radio platforms. What sets him apart is his strong connection to cultural identity. His music often features themes of love, struggle, hope, and heritage — subjects that deeply resonate with audiences in Northern Uganda and beyond.
Doggy Kizz is also a passionate advocate for local talent and has been involved in grassroots initiatives aimed at supporting upcoming artists. His collaboration with Eezzy is seen as a strategic move that will not only benefits both artists but also helps spotlight the region’s growing musical influence.
